My overall experience in this property was a positive experience. It’s a beautiful, spacious home and the pool was the best feature to come home to! Appliances work well. The fireplace was nice in the winter. I set it up for the next guest:)

There’s lots of room to bring some furniture. We left the kitchen table. Big rooms in the common areas so you can chill with your roomies or study in peace. Lots of storage space! Everything is updated so it’s a beautiful upgraded home!

I started a new career in Raleigh and wanted a place to be home away from home. I still have my home in VA but this was the next best thing to home. I really appreciated the fact that we could help choose who we roomed with. The landlord was very personable and professional and protective of his property.

I would have gotten my furniture sooner and hung out more downstairs. All of the floors are updated, that would’ve been nice. Upgraded washer and dryer would have been nice, but the rentals got the job done.

Alcove always listened. They are difficult to get ahold of and no office to go to. Take pictures of any flaws in your rooms as you may be held liable for the repairs later. Save them until your lease is up. If you have maintenance tickets and alcove sends a repair person, they will not be in a marked professional vehicle. They will try to bust in the house without warning and no uniforms after a hard day at their other job they will show up between 8am - 10 pm. Too broad a window to expect repairs. Hopefully it’s gotten better.

Tickets were responded to quickly and they always listened. If someone had two dogs you could see that and let them know, “we already have 2 dogs and 4 in one house would be too many”.

The landlord is responsive and solution driven. He makes decisions about what’s best for the contracts and property. Keeping him in the loop is recommended.
